Name that movie! Back to the Future. And it isn't the Libyans that found me, it's the sickies. And I guess they didn't find me, they found Jaren. Poor guy. I don't think it's the plague that has been going around, but he has a nasty cold. He has been sufficiently drugged and is now sleeping. I hope it lasts long enough for me to finish this and shower. What I would REALLY like to do is crawl back into bed, but I made such good progress on getting my house caught up yesterday that I should probably continue on that path. Especially since Jaren's current condition means I probably shouldn't go into town to pick up music like I had planned.
I have a fun blog I really need to get up SOON. It involves incredible blackmail pictures and hopefully a few laughs. I am trying to get the creative juices flowing to make a post worthy of the pictures, but I keep stalling out.
For FHE last night I taught the girls how to clean a bathroom. We tied it into having a clean and organized home like the temple. It's so sad that the girls thought it was FUN. Jillise even wants her own pink plastic gloves. I am hoping to take advantage of this by having the girls do the minor wipe downs during the week, then I can get in there and do the floors and the deeper cleanings when it needs it. And I noticed that Walmart no longer carries the Swiffer Sweep 'n Vac filters. What am I supposed to do now???? That thing was a lifesaver. This is one of those times when I wish we didn't live in the sticks and we had access to more than one convenience store.
Twilight Gals: I preordered Breaking Dawn. The girl at the local bookstore said they might consider a midnight release party if we could get enough people to commit to coming. Who's in? Oh -- and I finished my latest mindless fluff/chick lit book. When any of you are done reading your enlightening/slit your wrist/historical fiction books you are welcome to borrow it!! :)

Kids are so weird! I totally remember Grayson being jealous when I taught Fuller how to scrub a toilet. Somehow he thought we were leaving him out of the fun.
Im sorry Jaren is sick :0(...
Im excited about your upcoming blog but nervous at the same time ;0)!
And last Im in for the midnight party! I mean come on who can resist a party?
I think that's a fabulous idea for FHE! And great way to tie it into the gospel.
I'd totally be up for a midnight party -- ESPECIALLY if it is local. Did you pre-order through Amazon or the store? I'm a little nervous about Amazon pre-orders because I heard about lots of people who didn't get Eclipse for days or a week after the release date. I just think that would be torture.
I'm totally in for the midnight party! Guess I will need to get myself a 'Team Jacob' shirt so I have something to wear!
I love the idea of teaching the kids how to clean a bathroom. Maybe Brian would catch on that cleaning a bathroom also entails the toilet instead of just putting the stuff on the counters away... and then wanting credit for cleaning the bathroom!
Yes, it doesn't matter what they read...well within reason :) as long as they do it!! I just have to remember that Sam will get to this point, too. He's only in Kindergarten, but reading is not his fav. It's funny, I'm reading your photo captions, and your Joelle sounds a lot like Sam, both second children...hmmmm
I'm always up for a midnight party with my girlfriends, so count me in! :)
Poor Jaren! It seems like so many of my friends have been sick lately or have sick kids. When will it end?! I hope he feels better soon. And I loved your FHE idea. That would be great if the girls got excited about cleaning the bathroom, so stock up on some pink gloves!
Cleaning the toilet for FHE is on our agenda for next week. Right on that is awesome. It's crazy how kids love that stuff right until you put on a chore chart. A midnight girls outing that is definately on my bucket list. Count me in.
Paigey-
I have been so bad on my blog reading lately. Little busy with it all. Thanks for checking in with me though and for leaving that thoughtful post. You are so sweet.
LOVE the FHE idea! That was awesome!
SORRY your baby is sick; that is the worst.
CONGRATS on the breaking dawn purchase although I do have to ask, what do you love so much? ;)
