Gosh, remember Y2K? It seems like yesterday to me. Now we are four hours away from 2008!! Ca-RAZY. Our family decided to spend the last day of 2007 in the car, driving home from my parents' house. We made the trip safely, though our sound-ness is always in question. My children felt the need to wake up at 5:30 this morning and then NOT sleep at all during the day, so they have been in bed since 6:15. Yes, on New Years' Eve. We are lame and are doing our best to raise the next generation to be as lame as us. It's our duty. We can't all be party animals. The world would implode if there was no one getting a good night's sleep to guard the world from the dangerous sleep deprived zombies who stayed up too late banging pots and pans in the street. You can party your hearts out and sleep, knowing that the lame-os of the world will make sure that the sun rises at its normal time the next day. You're welcome.
And just so you know, I am posting from my beeyouteefull new computer. It is so pretty. And fast. And wireless. I have a webcam, but I have been too afraid to use it. I don't look too pretty after five hours in a car. Maybe I will ring in the new year with a shower.
And just so you don't think I am a COMPLETE loser, Brian and I will stay up until midnight playing Wii and watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Feel better now?

yeah, well it's 9:34pm nad I anm getting ready to brush my teeth and go to bed. And if you think I am lame, I will have you know that my husband has been in bed for over an hour. We are definitely party animals. I think that my big girls are trying to make it till 2008 while staying with Aunt Cindy. Us pregnant people need all the sleep we can get. Bring on the unisom.
We will happily challenge you to Wii sometime next year!
Nothing lame about staying home on New Years. I was trained by my dad to fear being out this night due to "all of those drunk drivers" who are out on the road looking to crash into me...someday I will be the parent telling my kids that same thing.
I remember two years ago seriously contemplating calling the police on all those lunatics lighting fire works! Don't they realize people with babies need their sleep to ring in the New Year? We did a little better staying up this year:) Happy New Year, Paige!
Happy New Year Paige! I'm glad you finally got your computer! And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who's kid's were deprived of a late night celebration, mine were all in bed by 8:30, though Paul and I did make it to midnight watching the Twilight Zone marathon.
Happy New Year! Good job getting some sleep, but did you wake up with all the fireworks and yelling?!
I love your new layout, where did you find it?
All you guys are cussing out those folks letting off fire works well, It's all Spencer! Happy New Year!
Ooohhh...I love the new look!
Happy New Year, My Friend! I am excited for 2008. It feels like a fresh start...an opportunity for growth and learning. Glad you had a nice quiet New Year's Eve with your hubby. Can't wait for a game night with the WII ;)
LOVE THE FACE LIFT! It is so soft and easy on the eyes! I knew the new computer would do things to you! I love it Paige!
New Years have never been that big of deal for me; it still isn't. I stay up until 12:00am all the time! ;) If it wasn't for the party we were invited to we would have been in bed by 10:00. Congrats on raising a lame generation. If they are anything like your "lame" they will be the coolest "lame" people we know! HA!
Happy New Year, Paige!!! I love the colors on this layout, it's very refreshing.
