In Need of an Ark

My friend Michelle braved the torrential rain to take some photos today. I like being dry too much to do that, so I am "borrowing" her photos and posting them here so that all of my friends and family in dry locations can feel sorry for us.

The 'lake' by Joelle's school (it is usually all grass and trees).
The local "creek." I think some of the ducks needed Dramamine.
The tennis courts at the park.

Hey, I was excited to see your comment over at my blog. Hello again! I had a great time reading through your blog the other night and "catching up". I discovered blogging in August--mainly as an outlet for my writing--and have really loved the bonus of renewing friendships with people. Seems like you are doing well. I'm going to link you on my blog, if that's ok?

I was blown away by all the water - Hayden said "didn't God say He wasn't going to flood things anymore?" I can just imagine how it was for Noah!!!

Our pump under the house is still spitting out water! So glad to see sunshine today :)

Oh man, I didn't see the park. What a lake of water.

I have been curious about how the area has been affected. (It even made the news here.) Thanks for sharing. I am glad I am not there to enjoy it firsthand.

ooh that looks like fun! When we lived in NY there was a corner where all the rain would settle and Jake John and I would play there on the way home from school.
