Jaren got his first haircut today. It is such a cruel trick of fate that he has enough hair to GET cut before his first birthday while the girls were still working on little wispies at this point. But anyway, he did GREAT. My friend Dana has a little salon in her house and she did the honors. I got him up from a nap to make the appointment, so I think he was just a bit out of it. But it helped. He kept wanting to see the clippers so he would turn his head to try to see what she was doing. But he didn't cry, didn't fight it. Just sat there. It's amazing how much more grown up he looks without the long hair on top and on the sides. And it will be easier to clean the cake out of it this weekend. :)

AHH! He looks just like a big kid.
I guess they gotta grow up.
Wow! He looks great! So, grown up looking, like you said.
And we're just the opposite of you -- our BOYS had no hair. As much as I might talk about Anna not having a lot of hair (well, at least a lack of thickness right now), I have to remember that Conner didn't have his first "boy" haircut until 27 months, and Payton at 18 months!
CUTE!! I love how grown up they look from just a little cut.
Oh, he looks so handsome! I love first haircuts!
