Okay, strangers out there. Today my blog has been visited by all over the planet (literally) and my mother is probably going to FREAK OUT when she reads this -- but how the heck are all of you being directed here??? You are all linking from blogger.com/navbar.... but it is a period of over several hours, so I know it isn't from people clicking on "blogs updated at 9:21."
So spill it -- how are people from France, Tunisia, Costa Rica, The Netherlands, Brazil, Chile, Norway, Indonesia, and Pennsylvania finding ME?? And why of all days when I have NOTHING INTERESTING TO POST ABOUT????

They are all clicking "next blog" on the top navigation bar. I find that if I post more than once in a day, or at a certan time I get quite a few of those hits. Whenever you publish new, your blog is the next blog. So it's just like kismet...you post, people click it. You just never know who you'll find.
Which, by the way, is why I NEVER click that next blog button. I've had to wash my eyes out with bleach a few times.
Darn tootin' I'm freaking out! I am not at all comfortable with people in Tunisia looking at pictures of my grandkids, but I am even more horrified at the thought of weirdos closer to home putting bits and pieces together and finding out too much information. PLEEZE be careful to stay anonymous.
Your horrified mother
Paige, the same thing happened to me last week. I had 10 different hits within an hour from all around the globe. M. said it's some sort of spam thing that's automated. He used different words, but I don't even understand what he's talking about, so I doubt I could explain it any better! LOL! I wouldn't worry. I was flattered, at first, but then, not so much when I figured it out.
That's interesting. I recently found out some distant relatives have been checking us out and that was weird because I did not even know they knew how to use a computer let alone find my blog. You'll have tos how me how to see who's been looking.
They are probably searching for "Spring Break" and it brought up your blog. Something like that!
I think it's probably "next blog" clickers too. (And I'm totally with Lara, that's a dangerous button to click! ) Either that or you're on your way to becoming an international celebrity;)
Nothing important to blog about? Sometimes monotony is the most addictive!
Totally found you by "Next Blog" clicking. However, I will have to agree that this can be a dangerous pastime. :)
I am in Australia but I found you through your link on Sassy Apron Swap - I look forwatd to seeing your apron.
I found you through Google reader... it listed you as a "recommened blog" so i thought I would see what they're recommending :)
Finding out that you're LDS too was a pleansant surprise.
