Jillise Before:

Jillise After:
This was HER idea. I love it. So does she. I explained to her that you can't do much with hair this length. And I know that it will be really hard to get it into a bun in May for the ballet recital. But the HUGE plus is that she will now be able to give herself a shower. Her hair before was SO long and SO thick and she has SO much of it that it was really hard for her to wash and rinse and condition. This will be a piece of cake. The gals at the salon even gave me free pumps to put into our shampoo to make it that much easier for her. Woo hoo!! She got 10" cut off. Enough to donate her ponytail to Locks of Love. She was pretty excited about that. Oh, and the sassy pose? Her idea. She has been very "peppy" since getting her hair chopped off. She even told me she feels more sporty now. Uh, okay.
Joelle Before:

Joelle After:
Joelle is a wild child. Her hair is fine and straight like mine and she is always taking it out of whatever ponytail I put in it. But she needs ponytails to keep her hair out of her face. So she just got about 4" cut off.
Jaren Before:
Jaren After:
Jaren did fine with his other two cuts. Not today. He wanted nothing to do with those clippers. He cried and clawed at me and so I had to sit him on my lap. I left that place COVERED in hair. Poor guy. He is in for a LOT more of these. I remember my poor sister in law having to hold down her son for haircuts. I hope it gets better before it gets worse. Jaren looks very grown up now. And even MORE like Brian.

CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! Love them all, oh and their hair! WTG Jillise...very sassy!
That is so exciting that Jillise was able to donate her hair. I always wanted to do that, but since I never let my hair grow out long enough before I cut it, I have never been able to do that. Maybe someday...
cute hair! I love the "sporty" comment.
And we're still holding down Payton for his haircuts, so good luck with that. :)
Jillise really does look more "sporty"! They all look super cute! And good luck on Jaren and the hair cuts. When Fuller was his age he was IMPOSSIBLE about hair cuts. At one point I started trimming it as best I could when he was asleep. Luckily he was a really sound sleeper!
WOW...they all look adorable! Jillese looks so grown up and very 'sporty' :) When Ben was Jaren's age, he had a difficult time, too. We used to take him to Castle Cuts. It may be worth the drive until he grows out of this stage.
I had no idea Jillise's hair was *that* long!!! How fun that she got to donate it. And what a spunky picture, too :) I love it! We always took out boys to castle cuts, too, and they thought it was the best thing ever. They still beg to go there. I guess getting to sit in a car of your choice, watch a movie of your choice and suck on a sucker of your choice really makes for a fun haircut :) Jaren might just dig it, too.
I agree with that first comment:
Cute, Cute, Cute! Where did you now that Dana's taking a break?
Very adorable haircuts. It helps you have such adorable kids:)
Cute cuts! Cute kids too.
WOW! I love Jillise's haircut! Joelle has the same issue as me too! It didn't get much better for me though. I still can't do anything with it. If you find a solution let me know!
They all look great! Haircuts can be such a pain. That is why I started buzzing the boys. Not sure what I will do with Mallory--but if she is like her brothers I have a couple of years before I have to worry about that!
I love Jillise's new length! Very cute!
Wow, that's a lot of hair. Gabby did the same thing a couple of months ago. Idk where I am going yet. I apply in May. My first choice is UoP in San Fran. But, I'll go wherever I'm accepted, as long as it doesn't snow there.... haha.
I think they all look great!
