More Silly Tests

I was reading through the blog archives of an old friend from college and she had these music tests on her blog.

Are you Tone Deaf? This was HARD. Be sure to read the directions and use the replay button. I got an 84%

Are you Rhythm Deaf? I felt like a high school freshman sitting in an upper level college course for this one. I could SO not be a percussionist. I still scored an 84%, though I have no idea how.

Are you Pitch Deaf? This one started off really easy, but as the pitches get closer together in Hz I felt like I needed the ears of a dog to differentiate. I scored a 2.1 Hz. I could tell the difference between many of the pitches under that, but not reliably, I guess. And I call myself a choir teacher...

Thanks for stopping by MY blog. I am contemplating whether to tackle the Emmeline apron or not.....

Did you get those from Lara? Those are hard, aren't they? Fun, though.

I got an 88% on the tone-deaf one. Go me!
I only got 72% for rhythm, and I feel like I am obsessive about rhythm, but halfway through it wouldn't let me replay any of them so I had to do some guessing.
On the pitches I only got down to 2.7 Hz, but I know I am not good on pitch. I can't hear when someone is singing sharp or flat as well as lots of other people. I could never be a piano tuner.

Very fun! You did well, I think. :) I don't remember my scores...I should go look them up. All I know is that my husband basically blew the pitch one out of the water.

Okay, so I think I will try it, but I probably wont share my results :)

OK, I got a 92% on the tone. I didn't notice the replay button until about 5 plays into the test. I did terrible on the rhythm, scoring an outstanding 56% Of course I know that since I cant dance and talk at the same time. My pitch was also equally bad since I blew my ears out listening to jet engines for 28 years. My score was 3.15 hz.
